We believe this because The Roach had them custom made to his own specification! Forcefield's reputation was earned designing and manufacturing award winning motorcycle protection. Forcefield are the official body armour suppliers to the Salomon UK freestyle ski team and now the Great Britain Snowboard and Ski Teams both use Forcefield Armour too - there must be something in it!

    Just superb!
    Not a bruise in sight! I brought these after a weeks boarding last year with bruises where no man wants a bruise. But not this year! All I can say is they are comfortable enough to wear all day, but tough enough to protect your important parts

    Bottoms don't look like a baboon's anymore.
    I own a pair of R.E.D. ladies' shorts, and while the padding was protective, they easily added two sizes to my butt. The Forcefield shorts are much less bulky, and with the additional 4-layer coccyx insert included alongside a 2-layer one included in the shorts, the tailbone's gonna get looked after without blowing up your rear end. I think you guys need to emphasise even more about the extra coccyx padding, and that it's neither the standard 4 or 2-layer versions sold by everyone else. Only (minor) drawback is that as they're unisex shorts, I found them long in the waist. However, the microfibre fabric is thin enough to roll the waistband over a few times for a better short-waisted fit. Otherwise, I found the fit to be comfortable, and not super-tight; might also be able to fit into an XS as a size 10.

    You'll even forget you're wearing them
    I love these shorts! They feel a bit weird when you put them on, but your body heat lets the padding mould to your body shape, and after a few minutes you'll forget you even have them on. They are really slimline too- I had no trouble getting them on under my usual trousers, and I was told by a friend that they didn't make my bum look big. I have worn them for a week away, and several trips to snowdomes, and I haven't suffered any of the usual bruising. The added bonus of wearing these shorts for a week of boarding is that you can sit comfortably on the plane on the way home!
